Terms of Service & Platform Governance
Effective Date: September 17, 2026 • Version 2.1.0
Velora provides software compilation tools that package web applications into standalone native installers. By using our service, you agree to: (1) only package websites you own or have explicit authorization to wrap, (2) never inject malicious code, keyloggers, or phishing scripts, and (3) adhere to fair-use compiler limits. We enforce immediate account termination for any malicious activity.
01. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the Velora dashboard, or utilizing our cloud build runners, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Velora ("we", "us", or "our"). If you are using the service on behalf of an organization or legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all access and use of the platform.
02. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to establish an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, sessions, and private signing keys (.pfx, .keystore). You accept full responsibility for all activities, builds, and packaged binaries dispatched under your account.
03. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP): Strict Prohibitions
Velora's compiler and runtime injection engine must never be used for unlawful or deceptive purposes. You explicitly agree that you shall NOT:
- Malware & Exploits: Create, compile, or distribute binaries containing spyware, ransomware, keyloggers, Trojan horses, cryptominers, or any unauthorized monitoring software.
- Phishing & Credential Harvesting: Package login interfaces of third parties, banks, or corporate systems with injected CSS/JavaScript intended to intercept passwords, cookies, or session tokens.
- Trademark Impersonation: Package remote websites you do not own while falsely claiming official affiliation, authorization, or sponsorship by the underlying brand.
- Infrastructure Abuse: Circumvent compiler rate limits, launch denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against our build daemons, or exploit cloud runners for arbitrary compute workloads.
Violation of this section results in immediate and permanent account termination, forfeiture of subscription benefits, and potential reporting to computer emergency response teams (CERT) and law enforcement authorities.
04. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Origins
Velora does not claim ownership of the web applications, remote content, or logos you package. However, you represent and warrant that you own or possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to package and distribute the target URL and its associated assets.
The Velora platform, its native container architecture, core native templates, API services, and documentation are protected by copyright, trademark, and open-source licenses (MIT and Apache 2.0). You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the proprietary cloud compiler infrastructure.
05. DMCA & Copyright Notice-and-Takedown Procedure
In compliance with 17 U.S.C. § 512 (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022/2065), Velora responds expeditiously to notices of alleged intellectual property infringement. If you believe that a packaged binary or public download link hosted on our platform infringes your copyright or trademark, please transmit a formal notice containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to be infringed.
- The exact public download URL or identifier of the infringing material on Velora (e.g.,
veloradev.site/download/[slug]). - Your legal name, company affiliation, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law.
- A physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright owner or legal representative.
06. Subscription Plans, Auto-Renewal & Refunds
Paid subscription tiers (Professional at $5.99/month and Studio at $12.99/month) provide recurring monthly build quotas and priority cloud worker slots.
- Automatic Renewal: All paid subscriptions automatically renew each calendar month unless cancelled prior to the billing renewal date.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of the active billing period.
- 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you experience persistent technical defects preventing native compilation that our engineering support cannot resolve, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
07. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM, RUNTIME TEMPLATES, AND CLOUD BUILD SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY. VELORA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT BINARY INSTALLERS WILL PASS ALL THIRD-PARTY ANTIVIRUS HEURISTICS OR OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION ACROSS ALL HOST OPERATING SYSTEM VERSIONS.
08. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VELORA, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE PACKAGING, EXECUTION, OR DISTRIBUTION OF COMPILED SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 USD OR THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO VELORA IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
09. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of Velora's primary operational entity, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation, failing which disputes shall be submitted to binding individual arbitration.
